Get a lawyer who plays golf with the judge. He's the guy that can arrange the bribe. Judges don't come cheap. Otherwise, you are guilty because if you are acquitted it effects millions of dollars in past and future bogus charges. They can't afford to free you. Traffic violations are a tax on the working class. It has nothing to do with crime or justice.

Cop here. I agree that it helps to not drive under the influence. With that being said, everyone is entitled to a fair trial and appreciate the defense attorneys who ensure that.

In 1992 as a 16yo I got a 95 in a 55. Went to court and the cop didn't bring the calibration certificate of his vehicle's speed odometer (he got my speed by pacing me). Judge dismissed it. No lawyer needed;)

Back in 1992 cops didn't regularly get their vehicle's speed odometer checked. Easy peasy

The best way is to jump out and chug a bottle of whiskey for the cop's cameras before he can grab you. Then it can never be proven you were drunk when you were driving. Or you can jump out and run, and then report the car stolen, however, this method does require that you actually do get away.

I also know a guy who passed out cold at a red light after drinking himself into a stupor, and promptly got arrested for DUI. He immediately hired a homeless person to come forward and swear that he had been driving and the car just quit running, so he walked away to knock on doors and ask for some gas. When he returned, the cops were arresting his passenger. And, not wanting any trouble with the law at the time, he made a boneheaded mistake and decided to just leave. Then my friend hired a good lawyer to run with the story, and the prosecutor eventually decided to not pursue the DUI charge.

Got charged with a dui on labor day. The cop said I drove on the shoulder which was actually a right hand turning lane i used to turn right. My attorney will be challenging this to the extreme.

What if an officer claims to smell alcoholic beverage at a traffic stop and I have the condition vector😢 hepaticus which causes an alcohol smell but it’s due to liver disease? I have had blood tests in the past when my breath smelled like alcohol but were negative and likely due to this condition. Would that invalidate an officer’s claim of smelling alcoholic beverage? I did not agree to breathalyzer or bloodwork. Thank you

Got to a point where I saw others get DUIs and consequently real trouble with their careers. So, made up my own rule and stuck to it - never never get behind the wheel under any circumstances with any amount of alcohol in my BS. Works every time!

CHP left spike strips on the highway due to a high speed Chase apparently (CHP were no where in sight ) and it deflated 3 of my tires, had no choice to pull over and call for a tow. While waiting CHP arrived on scene and instead of asking if we’re okay they did a sobriety test and breathalyzer.. blew .09 on the side of the highway and was taken to the station and blew .07, any advice and/tips to fight this case and sue for putting our lives in danger from the spikes + the damages to my tires?

I beat my DUI (.011) without a lawyer by doing the following:

1) understood that I had issues with alcohol and referred myself into treatment (30 day program).

2) Told the common wealth attorney that I had issues with alcohol and I was going to get help prior to my court date.

3) Went to court with the intention to plead guilt, as I knew I was in the wrong.

4) Case was reduced to a flat reckless driving charge.

Don’t drink and drive and if you’re having problems with alcohol, get help. You don’t want to have someone’s death, injury, etc on your shoulders.

My head almost went through the windshield 😢 they thought i was drunk. Officer ask did i have any alcohol. I admitted to 2 drinks but he never asked what time. Could i claim a TBI? To get off?

My blood test was taken 2 hours after. They had to wait for an available nurse to arrive at the parking lot behind the police station

You mentioned the 4th amendment. I had no legal reason to be pulled over and did not receive any violations other than a dui. How do I go about suppressing the following evidence ?? Is it possible the BAC will drop from .099 and then 4 min later read .080 ?? In addition to this, I have a report showing the breathalyzer was calibrated 3 years prior to the incident. Of which I read should be every 6 months or once per 100-500 tests.
