i love that they still do stop-motion and practical effects with a bit of CGI for set dressing. you can't beat the practical stuff.

Stop motion is an incredible outlet. I have some experience in it myself, and I'm very happy to see it used in my favorite franchise

Incredible scene and show! It never ceases to amaze me how much effort is put in compared to the screen time these creations are allocated. Well done!!

This is wonderful. This is how CGI should be used - to augment and blend craftsmanship and film-making, not replace it.

So it's Anti-Tamatoa. The complete opposite from Moana's giant crab. But it says "I want to be rusty!"

Amazing. I had no idea it was stop motion it looked so good. It's weird that they put so much time, however, in a creature that was kind of pointless in the story in an episode that seemed like filler. I guess this is why a lot of Star Wars projects have ridiculous budgets.
