It honestly bothers me that you don't get more views/have more subs. I really hope you're making your bread because you deserve it man. SO much talent and SO much effort

The only sad thing about the path of video editing is the horribly low pay that massive YouTubers will give to an editor if their not knowledgeable on fair pay. When I started off as an editor I was getting paid $15 to $30 per video and working 10+ hours on each video. When in reality I should've been getting $80 to $200 per video. YouTubers make a lot of money, and editors are the biggest factor behind those YouTubers getting a lot of money, if you're an editor don't undervalue yourself, your time and your work!

I've watched a hell of a lot of those YouTube help channels, VidIQ, FilmBooth, Think Media, and a gazillion others...and somehow seeing videos of you where it feels like we're just sitting down to a beer together and you saying "yeah man just do this and that and give it time and you'll get there" is consistently the most helpful advice. Great vid man, can't wait to check out the vlog.

Finzar I honestly can’t thank you enough for your editing advice I used to rely on memes to make my videos “funny” but I realized that too many memes is annoying lol! I finally crossed 1K subscribers and I wanted to thank you for showing me how to make my videos better❤

Honestly, this video was a good boost of motivation to help remind me to get off my ass and get back to making videos again, irrelevant of how poorly they perform.

There's this really rare, super unknown quote that goes, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." You probably haven't heard of it but I bet it would've been great to use within the context of your video!

Hi Fin. Just wanted to say that this is a really reassuring video for me. I've filmed multiple videos, but I have been a bit anxious to sit down and edit them. I have used Premiere Pro before numerous times, and this time I have your editing packs *wink* wink*, but I feel that with the current level the platform is on; my edits may not be good enough to be seen and show improvement overtime. I hope to sit down soon and get them edited to spread across the internet for people to find and enjoy. Another brilliant and insightful video as always. Proud of your growth! 😄

Your editing style has always kept me watching your channel. Even if the subject of your video is not my type, I'd still click cuz I know it's gonna be entertaining! ^^
ALSO the tips are solid and true!!

I am going through the learning process now... I spend 10+ hours/day editing and I can't remember when it was the last time I slept more than 5 hours/night but this improves my editing skill so much I can't stop now. Besides, the people I work with are just as excited as I am as I improve every video with something and I can't disappoint them. I will take a short break after I finish these projects to think about the future but now I am grinding and it IS exhausting but I am very confident it will pay off. I am doing this constantly since March and I have many opportunities right now, after two years of hard work. So I agree, every opportunity I don't take is a shot missed. I can't miss these shots now. I am on a spree! Many thanks for the value you provide me with, your content is totally part of my journey.

I learned to edit from your videos and now I constantly get compliments on my videos and my editing. Whenever I get asked an editing tip or how I learned what I learned, I always refer them to you and your channel. I like to think of all of us here as your padawan haha
