This video is aimed at students studying Units 3 and 4 of VCE Mathematical Methods. This series of videos looks at exponential and logarithmic functions.
This video looks at graphs of exponential functions, including y=e^x, as well as graphs of logarithmic functions, including y = ln(x). We also look at applying transformations to these basic graph shapes in order to sketch a variety of exponential and logarithmic graphs.
My class uses the Cambridge Senior Mathematics textbook for Units 3 and 4 Mathematical Methods for the Australian Curriculum / VCE. Throughout the video I may make use of the TI Nspire CAS CX II handheld.
