In Florida outpatient clinics pay $75-100k per annum plus benefits if you have a solid resume and negotiation skills. Home health: $90000-110000 for a full time salaried position plus benefits. Employers are willing to pay more during season (winter) as the need is higher. Its always best to look at the entire package rather than just base salary.

Great videos!
If possible, could you talk a bit about different residency specialities and which you believe is more valuable in your line of work than others (OCS, NCS, GCS...) or does residency not really impact patient care/salary as much?

Hello Tim👋🏽 I am a senior at Mississippi Valley State University. I will graduate this spring with my BS in kinesiology. I am currently interested in working in the physical therapy field. I have been interested in becoming a respiratory physical therapist or a chiropractor. I would like to know what schools should I take in mind. I currently live in Dallas, TX and I am looking to locate further or stay in Texas.

Hey, I'm a physiotherapy student from India and I'll be finishing with my bachelor's soon. I aspire to do my masters from Canada, it would be really helpful if you could help me out at all by telling me about the colleges that may be feasible for me and other stuff!
Thank you

Hi Tim, thanks for the informative video. I’ll be entering my first year as undergrad for Exercise Science this fall at an in state public university. I was considering either minoring or double majoring in nutrition? Would this be beneficial to being a physical therapist? Also, just exploring potential career pathways, is there a way to work with top collegiate or professional teams as a pt?

Hey Tim, I’m a 1st year SPT and when I’m not studying I try to research jobs in PT so that I have some sort of idea of what will be fulfilling yet lucrative when I get out of school. My conclusion so far for me would be to work fulltime/part time in an outpatient clinic to develop my skills but also work per diem either in acute care or home care in order to keep my pockets full. Does this sound ridiculous or does it seem like a good idea? Also I’ve been trying to research PT jobs with a pension system built in but they are few and far between and I’m wondering if you have suggestions about that as well.

2nd year PT student here. Im debating on using my last rotation (14 weeks) to go home health in hopes of making in roads to try and get a job. Is this wise? Or is a waste of time and I should pursue where all jobs seem to be in outpatient?

Starting pay for outpatient PT can range from 85-95k here in the Central Valley in California. Living expenses aren’t the best though

Hi Tim thank you very much for this video. I’m Luisa from Colombia and I would like to know what would be the average income for a foreign PT who wants to get licensed in USA? Thanks

This makes no sense from a financial standpoint. A dentist makes twice as much money for the same time and financial investment.

In the outpatient clinics here (in Canada) you can work as an independent contractor and easily make $80-00 to $100, 000 per year if you work full time.
