I hate that teacher who won’t give 100% especially because they won’t even tell you what you did wrong! They’re just petty and don’t want you to be happy

This is why I want to become a teacher. Americas youth needs more positive figures living and breathing in their world. Society is in a dark place rn…

My sign language teacher is a blessing in disguise. She taught me so much about Deaf culture and she reminds me so much of my own mom, her heart always in the right place and supportive of students of all backgrounds. This makes me wanna go thank her one of these days.

I lost my dad this year due to complications of his alcoholism and my English teacher worked with him. I moved across the country and I can't say how hard it was saying goodbye to my last father figure.

Where I live we have one teacher that does most of the subjects and the others. The teacher that did most of the subjects helped me a lot mentally. I have an autist brother and a father with something that I can't remember but It was something like Blood circulation being cut to the brain on one side. He also has diabetes. I also have a mother and a cousin. As a child, I started feeling bad and getting very worried about my brother and father. I liked being lonely more and other stuff. My teacher that did most of the subjects saw that I started acting differently in class. When she had free time in school, I would talk to her about It. She understood and told me things that changed my life for the better.

The teacher that listened to all my problems was my science teacher, he was always there for me in the hardest of times and sadly, the day before the summer holidays he told us he was moving schools, I cried after everyone else left the classroom and hugged him goodbye. Hope to see him soon.

Had a Colombian teacher (male) and I female. That would have real talks with us not in a creep way, but a dad kind of way. He’s the first adult that spoke openly about sex and protection. It was Spanish and yet we were building computers between period or before/after school with him. He was the best teacher I could ask for. I was only at that school for a very short amount of time because it was a detention school for bad kids. That school turned me around so much. They didn’t punish us into submission they loved us onto the right path. We helped build stuff for the city. We had a community garden. We have CNC and Lathe courses. It was crazy amazing all the things this 10 trailer tiny campus had and did for us. I wish to go back and pray it’s still there and show them I’m doing well because of them.

I had to say bye to my PRE-K teacher, I was able to see her because my friends little sibling is currently in PRE-K. It was really nostalgic being in that room, I felt like crying. I stayed around for a while, then the school had to go to church (Catholic School). As I was leaving I teared up a lot, so much that my friend went up and hugged me. I guess PRE-K is the best year of being alive.

I miss that last teacher. I’ve only been open about my problems to one person and that was a teacher in high school.

Haven’t talked about my problems with anybody including my partners or family since then. 😂

I’m coming to the end of my school journey. It’s been tough but the one thing keeping me from switching is my teachers, mainly. I don’t know if I can ever say goodbye without crying
