Thank you for this. Everything was very easy through installation, until trying to run Kali Linux on my new Macbook Air M2. Then I would run into the dreaded black screen of death. The fix was simple. In the UTM VM settings menu, under DISPLAY, change the "emulated display card" dropdown menu to: vitrio-ramfb. Finally booted Kali Linux successfully on my brand new mac architecture.
