I feel bad for the Coasties in the honor guard who had to attend this BS. Enlisted members hate standing at parade rest for hours while officers and civilians celebrate how great they are.

Esper was vice president of government relations at Raytheon which is a major U.S. defense contractor that designs missles and other devices. This seems like not-insignificant conflict of interests.
