**How to prepare an earthquake emergency kit**
I hope that everyone in California is doing okay!!

As you may know, New Zealand was just hit with a magnitude 7.8 earthquake, and there have been hundreds of aftershocks, with the possibility of more to come. My friend, the Earthquake Guy, has received many requests from his community in the past few days regarding what to include in an emergency kit. So I helped him make a video! We go over everything you should have to keep you and your family safe for the first 72 hours following an earthquake where you are forced to leave your home.

You forgot a helmet! gravity makes things hit you in the head during and after an earthquake. Ever see a rescue worker without a helmet?

A tip in the comments. Always keep your phone battery at least 50% at all times. In case of any kind of emergency. And keep your phone screen brightness 50% or less

My mom actually has some food, flashlights.toothebrushes, medicine canned food, basically a lot of things. She has them in case of earth quakes, BUT, my sister decided to eat the gronola bars like bruh thats for emergencies. So now my mom wants to buy more things because there was an earthquake yesterday and today. There could be one tomorrow, you never know i hope not though. 😢😢😢😷😷😷💖💖💖💖💖

Comfort foods are critical de-stressers during an ongoing event like the aftershocks of an earthquakes. If you can manage it don't go so spartan set aside some "glamping" items feeling Normal is a huge help to overcoming the helplessness of natural disasters.
