Coming from never having played the og, I think the combat is definitely interesting, enemies feel way more aggressive compared to the other games, and are definitely way more spongy, probably since a) theres clearly extensive weapon upgrade mechanics and b) you can just sit back and shoot them forever lol. Still, there's plenty of cool strats and metas for avoiding getting crowded by enemies or dominated by bosses, like using the wild dancer's circle attack to quickly cover your rear and break through bosses superarmor, which I think is great. Looks like Ishin will be a great time :]
