First thanks for not being flakey like other reactors and actually DOING the full trilogy. And second.. I think that ending is a tree fold message. Troye is at the cliff because he is putting down the connection to his love for this guy. Death. The boy is entering a suicidal ocean of pain because he is running from himself. Death. And I'm certain both of them want to jump after this craziness. The trilogy is a intimate look at wonder, trials and conclusion. I like this ending.. its the harder ending.. if it were anything else we wouldn't see the artists and craftsmens full talents. Because the Bad ending is the more demanding one. We want the good ending. It would be so simple and easy to give it to us. Troyes young. There are many happy endings to come.

and yes....I shed a few tears when I watched that.. especially as i'd read a REALLY sad book about a guy jumping of a cliff because he was gay and he couldn't tell his best friend, his mum disapproved.. a LOT, he was in a secret relationship with his enemy and his old best friend was evil ... too many emotions
