The complete fish room tour of all of Troy's basement aquariums. In this video, I walkthrough all of my basement fish tanks as well as explaining some future plans coming for me very soon! I also share some not so great updates on a few fish that are no longer with us.

Sorry to hear about your Chocolate. I had a Jack do the same thing, fortunately I heard him flopping about in the middle of the night behind the stand and was able to rescue him. Learned my lesson, had the Jack for many years after. He won Best of Show one year after at a Houston Fish show.

I've really enjoyed the evolution of the fish room. Everything looks fantastic. Loosing fish is never fun. There are so many ways this happens. One time, a while back, i lost a large African trout he got out of the smallest crack in the lid so small it's hard to believe, but he found a way. Lesson learned the hard way. Sorry about your chocolate. I love you're room you've done a great job with it. I have a lot of favorites, but I'd say the red heads geos or whatever they are calling them now are my favorites that you have. One day, i plan on getting them. Later, bro.

I love how your fish room is so tidy, clutter free and u have the tanks set up with fish from the same regions. So many fish hobbiests have fish stuff everywhere around in the room. I like the tanks as display pieces too. Clutter is hidden away. My fav fish is the discus, looking forward to seeing what u add to their tank.

Love your set ups and out of all cichlids SOUTH AMERICAN cichlids are my favorites I love you tanks they are setup simple but yet stunning and sorry to hear about your losses ... last week when at one of my local fish shops I seen and was very tempted to get a chocolate cichlid but I did as I dont know much about them figured I better do my homework (research) first ... great video and cant wait for to see you new tank and how you set it up 👌👍🏼👏🏻🍻😎

Great update Troy! Love the tanks. The 180 and 150 are so great. Your love of EBAs convinced me to get one for my 55. He’s small, maybe a half inch but doing well in the tank with my angels bronze Cory’s, gold barb and female Krib, can’t wait for it to grow out. Keep up the great content!

Troy, great vid, one I’ll watch a lot. I feel like I’ve got to know your various fish better from this and really enjoyed it. It’s never easy to lose a fish but you will find more that will fill the void. Thanks for this 👍

I'll keep an eye out for those electric blue acaras (I'm in the Chicago suburbs). I will be setting up a 75 planted tank soon (having an acrylic one built) with a sort of "island" scape in mind so I can keep some open swimming space. I've bred apistos, rams, shellies, Mbuna, and even had a few Steatocranus sp. (roughly 20 years ago) but never blue acaras. Enjoying your channel as I really can't commit to more than a few tanks these days.
