Hey guys,

It is with excitement, I bring you this video of Dr. Dave's second polymoog tear down before rebuild.

This is a video for the hardcore polymoog fans out there, I suggest you grab a snack/drink and enjoy as I go from a fully assembled polymoog to the bare parts making up a polymoog!!

As mentioned in the video, this is another polymoog that belonged to Dr. Dave Luce, the inventor of the polymoog.

Im restoring this polymoog for the Luce family. Dave is no longer with us on this earth but his legacy lives on with the great inventions and research he left behind. I have to personally thank Dave because without the polymoog, I do not believe I would have ever got into electronics and made a career out of synth restorations. THANK YOU DAVE!!

A very special thank you to the whole Luce family as well, its a true privilege and honor to call all of you my friends.

Thanks for the support and for watching!

Sincerely,
Jareth

49:54 Those words right there is what I truly believe separates someone who's truly into their work versus those who are just there to simply "make money." It's not easy to deal with some situations encountered in ones area of work, especially in "technician" work, however I truly believe at the end of each repair/restoration job, the dedication of mind is often revealed in the quality of results. Great work!

Hello Jareth, thank you so much for this video. Unfortunately, very few synth 'specialists' in the UK will even look at my 203a, which means I'm going to have to undertake the tear down myself. Are you going to do a vid of the reassembly?

Jareth..this is an absolutely amazing video. I had no idea there was so much in one of these monsters.. I have very mixed feelings, on one hand this amazing creativity and manufacturing skill, and then the decline....Would the USA be capable of designing and building something of this complexity again? And, please, software driven products are another argument and in a musical context are pants compared to this hardware, imho..Wow, wow, wow, America truly was an engineering giant and sadly no amount of Republican Trump rhetoric will bring these Glory Days back...it's very sad but what achievements were made...ps...the accompanying music is brilliant too....
