Let’s start the spring season discussion

What are your prepping plans for the spring?

I have so much I want to do, but due to my chronic illnesses each passing year, I seem to be weaker. It gets unbearably hot here in north central Texas in the summer and despite best attempts, everything just dies out. It is very discouraging. I do, however, want to attempt some container gardening again. Keep it small, just for enjoyment, and hopefully, I will have a bit to eat in the end. I also want to cultivate some medicinal herbs and comfrey. Before the heat of the summer starts, it would be lovely to spend a couple of weekends camping with the family.

We will be getting chicks to add to our flock. Planting some vegetables but mostly medicinal herbs. I have some hazards trees to fell and cut-up. My nephew wants to bring his kids over to camp-out and begin learning about that. If that goes well we will expand to include others.
