Mr. Soludo's only contribution to the Igbo political economy is the liquidation of African Continental Bank (ACB) the oldest Igbo bank founded by Zik et all to empower the eastern region during the colonial era. As a CBN governor, he achieved nothing except rant endlessly about creating a "Lekki Financial Hub" in Lagos, a utopian nonsense that failed woefully. As governor, he is known to build sub-standard so-called roads using apprentice contractors within his entrenched patronage-clientele network while ranting about Dubai, Taiwan etc. He is conspicuously absent whenever development initiatives in Africa e.g. Africa-China forum are discussed. The man is mired in small town thinking, punctuated by his irrational and pedestrian interventions on Igbo affairs be it about Peter Obi, Nnamdi Kanu etc. Mr. Soludo should just go and sit down.
