As sad as this song is, it takes me back to the most wonderful part of my life when, it seemed, nothing could be better than it was. And yet my wife and I lived through the most challenging part of our lives at the same time. Ah, the bonds and strength of youth which, sadly, can often change for us as we become older. The music itself speaks of sadness, the memories of that time in our life filled with happiness; what a strange mixture and yet it seems just right and to sit and listen brings a smile to my face ... right now :-)

A huge hit in the Philippines back in 1979 i believe, it's everywhere you turn your radio on. And it's one of those songs i learned to play the basics of playing guitar. This song by Rod Stewart, and "Skyline Pigeon" by Elton John were my early songs i memorized every words to the song. The words and melodies of both songs are just wonders, it tugs your heart!!!
