For light to disturb the minimum amount it will take to disrupt their skotoperiod is 1/1000th of the light it receives during the day. If growing indoor with lights you can use the photone app as mentioned to see if the light is enough to give you light leak issues

Pro-Mix HP w/Mycorrhizae, Worm castings, bone meal and a all purpose dry amendment . The absolute most cost effective medium. Buy your Pro-Mix at a local farm store it will be half the price of Amazon and cannabis grow shops.

Yeah I don't worry about light leakage as much as I used to.
After growing outside with streetlight, neighbors spotlights, all these little garden lights and walkway lights and party lights here not to mention the full moon at times... and I never had a problem. I worried at first but it seems they can take a lot.

I have used the “Medium” rate of Grow Dots on all my Tester Runs and never had any signs of nute burn.
I agree with Scene on chilling out of the General Hydroponics. I’d recommend starting with 1/2 dose and you start seeing a little yellowing in the bottom portion of the leaves as an indicator of increasing your dosage.
If you stay with grow gots; I’d recommend using Silica, cal mag 1/2 dose and recharge once a week at about 1/2 TSP per Gallon.

Always have a problem with low pH with FF in about week 4-5 of flower. Even with adjusting my watering to 7, by week 5 my runoff is 5.5

Holy moly I wish I had done more research before buying ocean forest for my seedlings I lost a few of them I used to only use coco coir but this time I was being cheap or lazy went to ace hardware bought a bag of ocean forest soil and I’ve been having issues with it since. The strains I am working with are Thai pre 78’ afpak, white widow and dj short Flo. I will be switching back to coco coir once they are bigger and I will never be taking any shortcuts like this again. What is a good organic soil mix for seedlings?
