I work at bmw and from what i see daily. M3’s are just bragging cars. The issue is not being able to buy it, but being able to maintain it. Also you need a winter car cuz the M3 is not for the winter unless you have a few cars. After working with them; they are all just cars. It matters more to the people who don’t see them and drive them everyday.

Some of yall putting down some of the B58 owners down but I can guarantee you some if not most of us car enthusiasts in this comment section came from some VQ and are just glad to “upgrade” to a BMW period…After seeing 1stock (R.I.P.) and Mr.Nohesi take the B58 platform to the next level, it made me want to get one just because…oh and they damn sure as hell could have afforded M3/4/5/8…but still chose to experiment with the B58. That should tell you something. Yes the S58 on the G80/2 stock is sick alone, appreciating the underdog and seeing people build projects out of the B58s is very entertaining…in the end G80/2s are a goal like a M3/4 next goal would be a GT3RS, being a BMW owner of the B58/S58 platform is something to be proud of I’d say!

your trans, axles, and diff are only gonna handle the downpipe and tune you wanna throw at it. m3 variant is way beefier. and pinning the crank hub only runs you about 4 grand, far better than a built trans and drivetrain components you need for an inferior 1st gen b58

2020 and below yes m340i or 340 all the way. If your talking new, m3 crushes the competition. Its just way to difficult to tune now. Who wants to ship their dme out of the United states. BMW would literally take over if there was femto unlock here. Game over... All you would see is b58's and s58 on the road.
