I thought geno should’ve played bettencourt more. Because even though ducharme and Lou hit a shot when it was needed or made a play, she low key had better minutes then both of them combined even though it was limited. She was making smart plays and passes like she was helping create shots for others. And Ayanna came up so big that 4th quarter. Like I’ve said before I don’t really care about her offense that can be developed & she’s probably not used to an offense like the one uconn has. But defensively I always thought she was good. Yeah she had that freshman foul bug but she was always there. I would rather fouling than wide open layups in the paint or getting lost on defense. She just had to adjust. I think this game really kinda of showed that the bench can provide something geno just have to have faith that the youngsters are going to be okay. They are never going to grow if he doesn’t throw them out there from time to time. Because our starters are doing silly things because they are so tired & worn out fresh bodies might help. Sometimes I be wishing CD was coaching because she doesn’t care. Everybody is going to play whether we’re winning or losing.

What a back & forth game. Morrow and Rimmer made a great duo. I hope Dorka is alright. Tournament play doesn't offer time to recover between games. At least they'll have practice at finishing close games.

Thank you MJ of course. This was a nail biter. Good job Dorka to get the tie up and force a jump ball and giving uconn the last possession. That was clutch. Uconn got some good bench minutes today which is awesome. That is something I think us as fans have continued to want to see this year. Hopefully the bench’s good play will grant them more PT during the last game and also in the BET tourney. even though uconn has been struggling offensively, they played some solid defense today. I hope they can get back into a offensive rhythm and just play wiser basketball. Stronger passes, not forcing shots up while trapped in a double team down low, moving more on offense and driving the ball more. uconn is pretty solid as far as defense but their slack is on the O side for sure. They still have a good solid 4 or 5 days to make some adjustments before the big east tournament. after their game on Monday and because of their 1st round bye they don’t have to play until March 4th so that’s good. I do feel bad for Amari that she gets overlooked it seems when it comes to playing but of course there’s a reason for it. It’s good to know that azzi will be back for sure since she was suited up today so we will see how that pans out and see if she can stay healthy enough for the post season. great win ladies 💪🏽💪🏽 let’s go huskies

Did anyone else turn down the volume in order to not listen to the commentators? Aubrey had a great defensive game, on the offense it is good that she is again trying to score again more but 7 made out of 14 from inside is just not good enough. Same for Aaliyah only making 6 out of 12 work, that is really really low and what made UCONN so great in the beginning of the season was their very high efficiency and making every shot count. Right now they are missing so many inside and easy buckets. Aaliyah dominating a game hasnt happen in a long time now, she plays strong but when in the early games of the season she was clearly in the MVP debate right now she shouldnt even be considered MVP candidate for the Big East. Imho this is an even bigger issue than the amount of turnovers because those turnovers they can kind of fight back with their defense but not scoring is just eliminating the possibility to win.
On the perimeter clearly Caroline is not on 100% obviously and thats why you only see her on about 20 min, and then you got Lou which is as always not consistent. Yes, she can hit threes and let it rain but then you get like 2-3 games in a row where she cant score no matter what. I liked Nikas shot attempts a lot. She is no Azzi or Paige but i always demanded for her shooting more and this game her release was much quicker and she hesitated less wether to take the shot or not. As PG you need to be dangerous in order to focus the defense on you to create open spots for your team. So scoring more helps her offensive game in more than just one way.
Ayanna did step in for Dorka on the defensive quite nice, she clearly has not the amazing offensive game Dorka possesses but you cant complain about a freshman not performing like a senior. This was one of the better games of Ayanna. Same for Ines: she should get more minutes especially with Lou and Caroline not being able to hit shots consistently. Both should get more minutes in the not so crucial minutes of the game, they could get several short stints, if they impact positively extend the minutes if not take em off the court after 4-5 minutes and try again next quarter.

Wow!!! Seems like too early for them haters to say that UConn ain't goin' for the Title huh.
Fun to watch unexpected players show up... Good game👍👍
Geno must TRUST the bench no matter what...Lou and Caroline were not in rhythm but played so well.

I would've pulled Morrow's wig each time she fouled Edwards 🤭❤️

UConn did better than they appeared - according to the box score (DePaul after the slash): FG% 42.9/40.6; 3pt% 33.3/30; reb 42/31; ast 20/15; stl 7/13; to 18/13; pf 14/16 Guess I was surprised by the rebound numbers, especially off rebounds 11/6!

South Carolina le gano con la banca a UConn, masa de 30 a 0 y a todos . Pero los Coaches de UConn no aprendieron la lección. South Carolina es el presente ... UConn el pasado... Soy aficionado de UConn

Definition of racism: prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular RACIAL OR ETHNIC GROUP, TYPICALLY ONE THAT IS A MINORITY OR MARGINALIZED.

African Americans are the minority, hence cannot be racist.

Sheryl having “so called white friends” is irrelevant. She should have never mentioned it. By doing so, she seems to trying to explain what was previously said, and she shouldn’t have tried to do that.

That’s just like White Americans telling African Americans, “get over slavery. That was a long time ago.” Really?

Black people are not racist; however, resentful. Resenting police brutality, Jim Crow Laws, and Slavery. It doesn’t justify an African American making certain slurs, but understandable nonetheless.
