I already have too many pens and too much ink, so I'm sadly not going in for this otherwise fun option. However, I will be checking out Truphae for other exclusive pens, because as it happens that's the only color of Aero pen that I liked.

The $75 box seems like the best value with the lowest risk. $150 for something that might be hit or miss is a lot. I’d still do it if they divided the 3 box obligation out over the year. A box every few months would not only be better economically for me, but also just better in general than 3 boxes in a row. I’ve only been collecting pens a year, so would be a better deal for someone like me than someone with a broader collection already to avoid repeats. Great pens though. I loved the wood one.

Cafe des Iles is a nice brown I totally forgot I had in my accumulation of ink.

The "hat" over some vowels in French means nothing for pronunciation. It basically just means that once upon a time, hundred of years ago, there used to be an "s" after the hatted letter.

The little hat in French is often used when, historically, there was an -s- in the word, e.g. isle -île, hostel - hôtel, etc.

île is Island... and it is pronouce like Eel. FYI :)
