I got it on the PS5. It's great that they released for us a new King Of Fighters (XV). It's a good game. I played The klassic King of Fighters back in the Arcades and in the consoles.

Maybe this game will get story DLC, and expand with more character's. I would love to see it. C'mon SNK! Shatter our expectations! Give us story mode DLC in the format of other fighting game stories! If not, then KOF XVI. Anyways, great review Nabil. You've done justice for people who are interested in picking up KOF XV.

Now that I finally got the game, I just want to say; THANK GOD SNK did not go with the cinematic story mode that other fighting games have been going with. I'm so tired of those boring story modes.

Great review! I usually don't watch reviews, but I do value the opinions of long time fans. It's good to see the series garner so much attention, and it'll be wild to see how it grows from here.
Would be amazing for them to either add an expansive story or capitalize on that next game. Giving us more lore definitely wouldn't hurt.

I wouldn't fault SNK for not emulating Mortal Kombat story mode, they simply don't have the budget to pull that off. They would need the backing of someone like Warner Bros to make a full movie-like story mode, even SF5 failed at trying to capture that.

I don’t care about story, fighting game devs need to focus all their time and resources into helping beginners learn mechanics, NetCode, cross play and stunning presentation.

Great review. I bought the deluxe edition, so I'm excited to play it in a few days. The thing I'm disappointed about that is not in KOF XV that is in KOF XIV is that it doesn't have artwork in the gallery. I like seeing the artwork of the series' history. I liked unlocking all the artwork in KOF XIV as a lot of the illustrations are great and it took me back to the first versions of the series, it made me want to play it more.
