I really love this new series! Book to movie adaptations are always so tricky. I can usually get over some of the physical casting differences, but it’s hard when you have visualized a character and then they look totally different on screen. There have been so many books I loved that bombed as movies. I wish the screen writers would pay more attention to trying to stay as true as possible.

These are really great tips! I hate when certain books are turned into movies and there’s such this big disconnect within the two. & also when you have such high expectations for the movie and it falls short lol. I haven’t seen this movie but have read some of it when I was in highschool. Going to check it out soon.

I’ve never heard of this book but yea I def hate when Hollywood changes how books are written. If they want to make their own version that’s cool but don’t try and change an original idea that works
