I have this cable for a couple of weeks and it works just like you would expect. You cannot however stream Netflix over your macbook and display the signal on to your TV because it doesn't support sort of a needed encryption. :(

The MacBook Pro 2021 port is smaller than conventional HDMI ports. Why is that?

I bought that cable to use my MacBook Pro as monitor of my cctv cameras but does not work. It seems that is only for output video but no as input video. Would you have any suggestions on this?

I have a prebuilt pc and the motherboard dosent have a video output source but it has an usbc port on the motherboard . I usually use my dedicated graphics display port to provide the video but I sold my card. If I want to still use my computer can I plus this adapter into my usbc port on my motherboard and plug it into my monitor using hdmi cord will it work?

I have a similar cable, but made by Benfei. I have an Android phone and tablet that I want to connect my television's HDMI port. All the videos I've watched make it seem like all I have to do is plug in the proper cable ends to the right ports and voila, it just works. Not the case for me.

I don't understand Ive ordered 2 of these and neither plugs into my 2013/2014 MacBook Air. Am I missing something? & it doesn't fit into my phone like the amazon picture shows either... Am I plugging it in wrong?? It doesn't fit the MacBook or iPhone.
