I needed this so much, this was my second depression episode with a little OCD today and I was starting to tell myself “You can’t tell anyone, if you tell ____ she’ll make it her problem, if you tell mom she’ll make a big deal then forget about it, if you tell then she probably won’t care because she and everyone else in our group chat are depressed, and you can’t tell because he doesn’t even care about you by the slightest! He’s the one who created a constant flinch and depression your in. You can’t tell anyone.” So after watching this video I summed up the courage to tell my mom tomorrow that I want to sign up for therapy and that I have depression, OCD, but I don’t wanna tell her that I have anxiety because from there I feel like she won’t believe me and just sign me up to stop being so emotional when really I wanna sign up to stop being so sad and get rid of all this bottled up emotion that I have held for at least 3 years. I needed this. Thank you. And for everyone else, you’re loved.
