When I was getting into professional freelance 3D design, I was often scrambling to come up with questions, thinking "What should I ask clients before giving them my price?" I didn't want to name a price that they could work with, only to learn that what they require actually is worth a lot more.

There‘s one thing I would like to add that saved me a lot of time:
Set a specified amount of revisions before starting a project. I always go with two revisions before the rendering process, showing the clients a lowres preview in eevee.
And if the client wants some more revisions afterwards, he gotta pay extra
