Canada in my opinion have a very underrated military from what I’ve seen seen. Especially when it comes to the world wars.

I served in Shayetet 13 for 19 years. I lost my legs (under the knee) broken spine half ribs…! And trained with many different units the best were SBS and SAS!

I feel like the list wasn't in any order, anyways great video, always enjoy your take on it!

The 160th has been around much longer than that. Example, they were the pilots during the Black Hawk Down ordeal.

Nothing but respect to all of these troops. One aspect of Delta is that virtually all of their recruits come from Rangers or Green Berets and 95% of THOSE guys don't make the cut. That is a very special level of hard.

The night stalkers have been around longer than that, they just weren’t really known. Black Hawk Down missions were all flown by the 160th. My ex wife’s father flew blackhawks for the 160th for over 20 years before he retired in 2008.

The Canadian SF unit is actually not called canadian special operations forces command... it's CSOR - Canadian Special Operations Regiment, and the Tier 1 unit is called Joint Task Force 2 (JTF2)

Personally I do not think it is right to allow women into SF for combat roles. It is biologically nearly impossible for a woman to be able to keep up to the exact same standarda of training the males can. Im sure they could beat out a lot of guys in pain management, and even maybe on pyschological strain and training. But physically its almost impossible. Males typically are taller, have more bone density, more muscle mass, and can perform more physically demanding tasks and often have higher levels of stamina.

I mean no disrespect to the ladies out there who go and try out for these positions in the military. I think its quite honorable, truly. But the training, the time investment and financial cost trying to put these ladies through the training im sure is quite large with very little results to show for it. Historically, i think most women serving have far greater talent and ability to serve our nation in things like logistics, and espionage. Its better to play to our strengths than to try to bash our heads through a cement wall in the name of "gender equality"

Having spent 10 years and multiple deployments in various JSOC units I will say that, without exception, 160th is the most impressive group of all. The things I have seen them do with with birds is absolutely mind boggling. Not to take anything away from Tier 1 units, but these dudes abilities are supernatural. Cheers mate!

As you said, they could all be at the top on a good day. These are all top units and insanely competent at what they do. The ones that come to mind for me are; Danish huntsman, Indian Marcos, British SAS, US Night Stalkers, Russian Alpha Group, US Delta Force, US Navy Seals, and the French COS. There are a lot of other great forces out there including Norwegian MJK, and I've also heard great stuff about the Polish JW Grom, but I guess most developed country's special forces are highly skilled. What it will come down to at this high level, I guess, is the resources they are given.

I was once part of 160th in the late 90's I'm so happy they are mentioned here! Every spec op needs a ride somewhere =)

There are no forces in this planet that are better than both Navy Seals and Delta Force. In fact, your buddy can be a Delta and you would never know he is one. It happened to us in our unit. SSG X was a Delta and we didn't know until he medically retired and got out. Crazy.... The guy was so far ahead of all of us intellectually, physically and overall knowledge of every damn thing.

I think its kinda hard to say who is best. The missions and task that these soldiers have accomplished is extraordinary. All these people are extremely deadly. Respect to all
