I make baby/kids boutique style clothing. I get this comment sooo much. "I can buy it cheaper from amazon, temu, etc." I literally set in my dining room while taking care of my 1 year old little girl handmaking each piece. I customize for each customer. I hand stamp my tags, cut every tiny strap or hand punch the snaps. I put so much time into the pieces. Theres no better quality clothing than handmade. So sometimes it urks me when people say things like this

I'd say get some small padded envelopes to decrease your shipping costs. This box probably weighs more than the bracelets.

You could probably save money by using envelopes instead of boxes. You can stamp them with a cute stamp if you want. But youd for sure save a buck or two and be just as cute. That box has a lot of wasted space.

i understand why it’s not for everyone cause homemade pieces are expensive today. not everyone has $50 to drop on an item they can find for $10. i know it’s all about supporting small businesses but half the time our wages physically won’t let us

You should switch to envelope mailers. No need for a giant box for an item so small. Even for larger orders they’ll fit in a mailer.

Yall gotta understand when someone hand makes an item, they put their energy into whuch makes it more meaningful and beautiful. Its like they give you apart of them and you should find it more precious to you . Like we dont have same appreciation for things when they are mass produced and everyone has it . Think about it.

If you're using a box of that size I recommend using more of the paper sprinkles to cushion the bracelets so the beads don't break. The box will get tossed around during the shipping process.

If you can support a small or local business, please do so. I think these things are cute as hell and I just feel something warm in my heart whenever I buy from these little businesses. It somehow feels personal, even if it wasn't.
