I think my galaxy A54 which I bought almost 2 yrs ago for 350$ is still better than it. (it also has a 120hz display with fast charging and 5000MAh battery. Features none of which standard non pro IPhones come with)

To be fair, this would be really cool if you are an oldschool kid. A phone that looks like it's straight out of 2009, yet has processing speeds over most laptops in the modern day, pretty crazy.

Still using my SE mk1 and apart from a replacement cheapo battery last year it’s been excellent and has all the features I need. I for one would be happy for apple to bring out a new SE with latest cpu and a bit more base storage and latest iOS support and keep the rest more or less the same and charge significantly less for it than big iPhone. Also smaller size is excellent for keeping in pocket coz as a bloke I have pockets to put things in. SE isn’t poverty spec, it’s normal person spec.

The budget Samsung phones are decent. A55 256GB is about $300. The A56 might be out by the time SE 4 ships.

So in the spring of next year they will still be selling the Ipone 14 parallel to the new SE4! But SE4 has better camera 48MP vs 12MP (so better zoom than 14 but no wideangle). More RAM...more power and Apple intelligence, but cheaper. WTF!
