As a Civil Engineer and master builder on east coast i can say we didn't build these old world structures. My descendants arrived in 1604 and struggled to clear land and build their homes. I grew up in the oldest city in eatsern Canada and won awards for historical restoration work but always recognized that so much was previously removed and modified, the reason i knew was also having been an Antiques dealer for many years and discovering articles and items that made no sense to current knowledge such as large copper rod like cylinders and strange electrical gadgets. Ill never forget this time of my life but eternally curious as to the real past
