MY NEW DIY SHOE STORAGE (WALL) | IKEA Hack

I FINALLY have my new shoe wall finished. This was SO easy to do and turned out so so well...so I figured I'd share a very quick video with all the details. If you also have a small space to work with (but lots of shoes lol) - this could definitely be your solution too. Hope you enjoy & let me know in the comments in you like it. Erika x

I don't have NEARLY as many shoes as you do, but I have been straight. up. AGONIZING. about how to store them (our closet is small) in an aesthetically pleasing way that wouldn't hinder access to the clothes in the closet. This will actually empty about 1/4 of our closet space AND give me a kind of "art piece" of shoes to display on a bit of wall that's been empty since we moved in! Thanks so much! Lifesaver!

I have the very small lack shelves in a corner with my most ornate shoes and perfume collection. IKEA is so affordable and looks really good. I agree that the wideness makes them look so much more expensive

You should add an extra shelf on the bottom but also one on top, it’ll make the wall look much higher therefore the ceilings as well

This is the exact Idea I had in my old place with the IKEA shelves, It just allows your room to be neat and also have a shoe store vibe. This time round I have a cupboard with shelves already built in for my shoes 😃

This looks great. I was hoping to see the shelves put up to see if it’s something I could do or not. You could put another shelf on the bottom and put your flats there and it wouldn’t even necessarily have to be a foot down from the bottom shelf. Can’t wait to see your bags.
