When I was a teenager working construction for my cousin Nando, he would say, "if nothing is breaking it's because we ain't working"!

That sigh is the sigh of trackmen world wide Dave. I recognised it straight away

So sad when we want to get things done and issues arise.
You never know what may happen.

It's always something. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Beautiful piece of equipment when it isn't broken. Have a great weekend my friend.

Now there is a load I'd like to catch on one of my Highway-Hauler roll-bys. I sure have caught my share of those Landoll's. 🤠👍

Travelling axle trailers are so handy.

It's got a bad ticker, poor thing needs a triple bypass..
TriGogglin
This is one of my favorite styles of trucking, which is hauling equipment! I've never pulled a landoll, but I have done lowboy! Landoll looks so much simpler, I'll tell ya that! That trailer lifts up, but a lowboy has to be disconnected every single time. Those landolls are just higher and aren't suitable for every type of load.

Yes they do breakdown I operated one of them for Conrail and for CSX

Based off of amtrak’s recent catenary reliability you don’t need any “terrorists” to cripple the NEC

More than normal maintenance will come along!😢

Did it wipe itself and clean up the mess? 🤣🤪

Does the cole mine have to wait for the tamper to be repaired or did Amtrac send another one in its place?
SteveMikre
Ohhh my... not good news. That will put them behind a bit for sure!

Looks like it uses 30/30 spring brake air chamber on that unit.
