The Occupy movement REALLY needs a cohesive and coherent message. They've got the right idea and their hearts are in the right place, but a little organization and solidarity goes a long way when it comes to civil disobedience.

I wasn't there, but in NYC, the cops consistently overstep their authority even in places where the law is clearly posted--the cops refuse to obey it.

Black Bloc tries to fight the protestors when you tell them not to throw stuff... they don't even know what side they're on. Black Bloc is the number one reason I haven't been going to occupy... good job guys.

I'm torn... just for the simple reason that I have always been a supporter of the movement. Now it seems like certain individuals are bored and irritated. The movement is so much more than that.

He is CLEARLY not, and you CLEARLY didn't watch the same video I just did. He even slightly spoke against them in this one, and flat out said that it's hard to say which one of the groups started the violence first in this case.

Just because he supports the Occupy movement does not mean that he supports the violent protesters, and he has REGULARLY spoken out against the violent ones. And his attitude in this video is no different. "It's a terrible idea to do that."

if there is protest with no voilence ever, then it is meaningless. for voice to be affective it must be known that if the voice is not hurd there are repercussions.

Why don't the occupiers get permits and occupy the area outside the company that makes the tazers that the police use to zap the occupiers with? It is a public company whose stock trades on Wall Street. They could ask the CEO what he thinks about how his product is being used?
