'AVEC TES AMIS' (LE SON E/EU) (to 'Call me Maybe' by Carly Rae Jepsen) (KARAOKE VERSION)

Rossmatoz Education presents, "Avec tes amis" to the tune of "Call me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. It is a short poem with a focus on the sound e/eu, intended for grades 1-4 in French Immersion and 4-8 in Core French. This video is intended for guided/independent singing without vocals.

It was written by 2 Ontario French Immersion Teachers and sung by my partner's francophone daughter, Aloise. Before singing the song as a class, we encourage teachers to decode the poem along with checking out the original song to gain the rhyme. Once your class has had enough practice decoding, modeling, and sharing the song (duets etc...), you can try the Karaoke video without the background vocals as a whole groupe! Amusez-vous bien!
