Hungarian here. In my household we use it for 1 week then wash it in the weekend. We don't have any health issues :) Sorry Ari but using it only once is such a waste. Also your immune system needs some bacteria to work properly.

If not mistaken, Malaysia uses this way because our country are hot most of the time so when you hang the towel after using it, it will get dry easily and the sun will kill the germs too.❤❤

yea the logic is, the body is clean from scrubbing and washing it and rinsing, you're removing the water only...so the towel isn't dirty, its wet...

My Korean wife does the same. For us men, we wipe from face to hair downwards. The towel forgets everything the next day.

I think to save water, energy and still hygienic, maybe use 3 different towels (hair, face, body). But wash them once a week just fine 😂

We're Malaysians. We always concerned about our water bills than hygiene. So far we don't get sick from not changing towel everyday. 😂

Usually like in Malaysia. We have the habit to reuse the towel and wash it after a week or 2. May sound unhygienic, but you technically wiping your clean body after you take a bath/shower. Plus we always hang towel under the sun to basically sterilize it or hang it dry in aired area

I was just thinking about this the other day. I wash my towel once a week (that's what my family does) and I wonder if that might be considered dirty by other people. Similar with Joshua's thinking, I'm already clean when I use the towel

I normally change the towels twice a week..1 towel use for 3-4days 😂

Simple logic, if the towel is dirty, you didn't clean yourself properly, if you wash properly, you can reuse the towel a few times, just make sure to properly air it and let it dry properly between uses.
