Hello Mam,
I was filling the DS160 form for my wife for H4. There is one section "Have you ever used other names (i.e., maiden, religious, professional, alias, etc.)?". She has only the first name in the previous passport and all her education documents. But in the new passport she has the complete name i.e. new surname after marriage and her name. So what should we choose here "Yes" or "No". If "Yes" then what should be in first name and last name.

Hi, the ds160 of my husband and son were done and already paid. I always thought that US PETITIONER is someone or anyone residing in the US of any status. So in the question who will pay for your trip i chose US PETITIONER (which referring to myself) and in US CONTACT, I put my name and in the question RELATIONSHIP TO YOU, i chose again US PETITIONER (which referring to me). Are these errors material to the applications of my husband and son?

I don’t know if I create new ds-160form, I was waiting for my interview date on May 31/2021 the embassy cancelled my interview appointment at moment because of Covid the embassy aren’t accepted on this day only for emergency appointments and I am just confused with my booking...hotel and flight attendant and when I checked out schedules I got on February so far and what’s your advice can I creat a new application DS-160 ?

Sir. My company told me to apply c1d visa.
I submitted proper ds160 form.
But in appointment i did a mistake.
Befor 2 years j applied b1 b2 visa. That was rejected. This time i am applying c1d. When i open appointment site. There is i used same username password which i used 2 year ago for b1 b2. There was already my profile in which old confirmation number was there. I didn’t change that confirmation number.
I submitted fees according to old confirmation number.
What should i do now.
Another all information I filled same as ds160. But did not change confirmation number
I checked on google. CGI number generated according to confirmation number.

During 2021 I filled DS-160. That time I was in Govt of India Service. My Service details were provided. Due to corona Interview slot gets cancelled for 3 times and I got the schedule for 9th apr 2023 for Finger print and 19th apr for Consular VISA.

Since Iam retired from govt service by may 2022 whether to modify the DS-160 service details or can I justify the reason during the interview. Whether it is mandate to change the service details becaue it was coorect on the Day I submitted.

Hey, dude! When I completed ds 160 form I made some mistakes, I decided to complete a new ds 160 form again. I wrote to the U.S. Embassy email for expedited appointment because I will go as an exchange student on J-1 VISA, they didn't write the date of the interview. Is it okay to complete ds 160 two times?? Are there any difficulties because of double submision??

Hello Sachi.I applied for an exchange visitor visa at one consulate. It was denied. I applied again but due to appointments unavailability, i took date of a different consulate(but same country). I knew my interview was going well but only because of my previous IV being at a different consulate, the VO denied again. Now, should i apply at the consulate i was recently denied or should i look for a date at the consulate i was initially refused? The consulate i applied for at the 2nd time was really smooth and calm, and i want to reapply there on my 3rd time. But sincere advice needed.
