Shantha Mohan, Ph.D., is an entrepreneur with software engineering and operations management expertise who currently serves as Executive In Residence at Carnegie Mellon University’s Integrated Innovation Institute.

In 2019, she was the recipient of Editor’s Choice award for the Women In IT Awards, New York, organized to showcase the achievements and innovation of women in technology and identify new role models.

Since 2017, Shantha has served in the College of Engineering, Guindy, Alumni Association, North America (CEGAANA) board, as Director of Education, Career, Entrepreneurship.

In 2018, she published Roots and Wings: Inspiring Stories of Engineering Women in India, which chronicles the lives of pioneering engineering women of CEG, spanning almost 3 decades (1943-1971)

In March 2020, College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) honoured Shantha with its Distinguished Alumnus Award.
