» Exogate Initiative is a game where you build and manage mankind’s first mission across the universe! Create a sprawling facility underground, recruit a diverse group of specialists from around the globe and explore mysterious new worlds through the Exogate. The game is very Stargate inspired with and feels a bit like a cross between Evil Genius and XCOM. This series can also serve as a tutorial for new players.

Stargate + Evil Genius/Dungeon Keeper. A real interesting mix.

It has been years since I had any reason to think about Stargate even longer since I watched the movie. Now I feel like looking up some of the weird spinoff series/seasons that I never got around to watch.

This game looks cool, thanks again for bringing attention to such niche games. I am currently rewatching Stargate, over 10 years ago I did it fully for the first time after sporadically watching it on TV as a kid. The show's old, maaan - SG1 started just one month before i was born. Now I am at season 6 again. This time I want to watch Atlantis too.

love how the game implies that we are advance enough to go and explore the galaxy but at the same time we need research to build a gym .
also you put the lockers in front of the paintings that was hanged on the wall and my sanity went out the window😄

I feel like this is going to be a game where there's a lot of unintended consequences from decisions. Like your choice for individual bedrooms might come in handy when someone brings back an otherworldly parasite or disease.

Also as a fan of Stargate growing up, thank you for bringing our attention to this =)

I kind of hope the game designers thought through the possible downsides of having a team exploring alien worlds full of life that's motivated by profit first.

...I mean there's probably a copyright on Weyland-Yutani, so I guess they have to go with something else...
