In the last 30 yrs I've watched China grow and it has grown at an astonishing level. I truly believe China will succeed because now Europe is also warming up to BRI. Africa is already with China.

China's One Belt One Road initiative is as much about the ability to move troops as it is to move goods. The French lent money to the Russians to build railroads to speed mobilization in case of war with Germany. The Nazis built the Autobahn to move troops across Germany. The Chinese are investing in infrastructure in specific countries in order to facilitate the movement of troops and equipment into the Middle East and Europe because they understand that in the event of war with the West, a land based war that plays to the size of their army is their best strategy. India understands this. That is why they do not wish to participate.

Considering the history of the influence of western relations we talk about China's communist culture it's a western influence so what should we expect of our influence and relations now with China in retrospect?

What the video didn't tell you:

1. The entire initiative basically puts poor countries into debt traps, and when they can't pay China siezes ports and infrastructure to secure their "Belt and road Initiative."
2. You'd expect this investment to at least help the local economy a little bit, by employment and whatnot? WRONG! All the workers are imported from China.
3. Many of the projects are way overfunded, and a majority of the funding goes to the corrupt politicians of the unstable/developing country receiving the funding.
4. The whole thing is basically Globalization 2.0, and many people compare it to a form of Neo-Colonialism, with investment that puts countries in debt and all their natural resources and infrastructure gets taken.
5. But wait, all these things are terrible and a thinly-veiled attempt at global domination of the trade networks of the world! Well, not if the CCP frames it as "Helping" Poor countries and "Rebuilding" The silk road.

It's funny that Chinese citizens think the government is just wasting their money on some hopeless countries and the money may never get paid back.On the other hand, out of China, People call that huge money a debt trap😂😂

I have a bad feeling China is going to end up with "hurt feelings" when this is all over.
