A week after purchasing got a call from someone on his team checking in to see how the watch was treating us and making sure everything was good. Class act and amazing customer service. This might sound a little weird but, as someone who’s been watching Teddy’s videos since pretty much the beginning, I’m so proud of this guy. He’s a complete stranger to many of us but, the way he introduced us to so many watch brands and opened up eyes to all the different nuisances of the watch industry. Congrats for realizing your dream! I'm on the other side of the world so I won't be visiting any time soon! I'm new to horology, but one thing I've noticed from many of the watch 'boutiques' especially here in Australia is the 'watch snobbery' that goes on is just off the meter. Apart from a few (like the Seiko boutiques) not many are accommodating or don't understand that many of the luxury brands are 'aspirational' - I won't be able to afford ANY of them - but I still admire them, maybe one day will buy one. I hope your boutique reflects your relaxed down to earth YT presence, you truly love watches! Yet you understand not everyone can afford or is even interested in the 'high end' brands - but we appreciate and admire the craftsmanship & engineering none the less. Best of luck going forward, hobbies are meant to be inclusive and about passion... this is clearly a labour of love and passion for you!
