I watched Scavenger's Reign and Pantheon back-to-back. Both are up there as some of my all time favourites.

My favorite adult animated series will always be King of the Hill. As I grow older, I relate to Hank even more! It's funny because as a kid/teen, I used to think Hank was a total buzzkill. Nowadays, I wish I'd become the strong, dependable handyman as him.

Venture Bros. I'm a massive Hanna Barbera head, but it also was one of the first series I saw to handle gay characters without Tokenizing them. It features so many refrences to Music, literature, supernatural studies. It also has some of the best and I'm gonna have to say Subversive character arcs in all of fiction. THEY KILLED 1/2 OF A COMIC RELIEF DUO AND THE SURVIVOR BECAME ONE OF THE DEEPEST CHARACTERS IN THE SERIES! WHO FUCKING DOES THAT?

For now, I would have to say Primal, Genndy Tartakovsky cooked with this one. Despite the over the top violence, it manages to tell a great story with fantastic characters despite there being next to no dialog.

The Venture Bros. is my favourite. It starts as a hilarious homage to classic Johnny Quest era adventure serials and golden age superheroes and then turns into a (still hilarious) rich story with deep lore and some of the most fun character dynamics I've seen in a tv show. I'm glad they got the movie to finish it up but its such a shame that it got cancelled one season away from a true finale. Still totally worth watching though, go team Venture ✌️

It's basically adventure time for adults, going over topics like drug liberties, forgiveness, or death with various spiritual practitioners and amazing animation/art style.
