about the old man. so on 28300's youtube channel (hidden in the depths of the internet) in her video about not trusting the red nexus, she mentions that her professor, soren babic, went missing. he's the professor from on my way. later at the front desk in the walker excavations, an email tells that the password to soren babic's secret laboratory has been changed. this is the lab from stage 2 of the walker excavations. my guess is that he was captured by red nexus and forced to work with them, which is probably why he was in alone pt 2. in terms of why he's in darkside and diamond heart, it's probably the same situation as whatever walker 28300 did to get from the ancient times to the modern times. i understand if this makes absolutely no sense, but it's my opinion.
