I watched Le Mans many years ago - well 1985 to be precise when I was at school. I think the word 'intense' describes my memory of it best.

Ford v Ferrari was a very good movie, I originally saw it in theaters when it came out. Great video as always 👍

I would suggest you an Italian film relased in 2016 titled "Veloce come il vento" (i don't know if it's dubbed for foreign market, sorry!)

Another great movie is "Senna" from 2010. This film include the original recordings, sounds and has a great vibe.

Just watched Rush - really begins to take off in the second half - once again an intense film.

"SENNA" from 2011 is brilliant if you havn't seen it. I also liked "Driven" from 2001 with Sylvester Stallone when I was a kid, even though it has been described as the worst racing movie ever. It's about IndyCar.

Ford vs Ferrari was good but Le Mans was more memorable. Le Mans had different feel to it than F vs. F. It had moments where the was no dialogue, the pace of movie changed periodically throughout the which added anticipation how it was going to end. F vs. F you already new how it was going to playout.

I was a fan of formula 1 but it's a shame to see what it has become today! 70's to 90's it was an amazing time for F1 in my opinion! Best wishes from México!
