Blackmagic's ATEM Mini makes it easy to stream with multiple DSLR cameras!

This is an overview of BlackMagic's ATEM Mini. A clever little control box that lets you connect upto 4 HDMI sources to it and then output them to your stream on Twitch, YouTube or Facebook Gaming. This is interesting for me, because it means I can use the device to connect my three cameras and live stream unboxing videos while also capture footage for "proper" videos here on YouTube.

The ATEM Mini is a serious bit of kit potentially though and I'm not covering everything it can do in this video as that would take forever. I'm merely showing you the simple possibilities of the device.

I am having an issue and can NOT find the solution.

3 camera set up. Atem mini. All cameras simply time out unless they are osycially recording to their SD card. However I am running a live stream and have no need to physically record on the cameras.

What do I do. Very obnoxious

I run into an issue I haven´t been able to solve. Please help!

I have the ATEM Mini and a Canon DSLR 7D with HDMI out.

I connected my Canon DSLR camera to the ATEM mini via HDMI cable, but I get a white frame/square in the middle of the screen. I can´t get rid of it.

I tried

-Removing all the info from the screen by clicking the info button
-Going from Autofocus to Manual focus on the lens

The white frame is still there... I managed to make it disappear by clicking on the "Record" button, but now it is substituted by a record red circle on the top red corner of the screen. Please help me remove this white frame from the screen.

Just stumbled on your channel- any idea why hdmi 1 on the ATEM mini is only outputting green and pinkish colour? I have changed cables and cameras. Thanks!
