Agriculture and Food Security

In recent years, numerous major drivers have put the world off course to ending world hunger and malnutrition in all its forms by 2030. The trials have grown with the COVID-19 pandemic and related containment measures. Agricultural development is critically significant to improving food security and nutrition. Its roles include: increasing the quantity and diversity of food; driving economic transformation; and providing the primary source of income for many of the world’s poorest people.
