How do I create a Microsoft 365 tenant? Find out here | Peter Rising MVP

In this, the first of a new video series to launch this channel, we look to learn Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory from the very beginning. If you want to learn how to become a diligent and effective Microsoft 365 Administrator, then this is the video series for you. You may be looking to gain new skills, to make a change in your career, or you may be about to leave school or college and you like the idea of working with Microsoft technologies.

This series will be dual purpose, in the fact that we will follow the study guide for the new Microsoft MS-102 certification exam (currently in beta). So you can learn M365 and study for a new certification all at the same time!

We start right at the very beginning in this video - by creating a Microsoft 365 tenant. You will learn how to select a free 1 month trial of your chosen Microsoft 365 subscription plan, and how to select your payment options.

When you have completed these steps, you will have a brand new Microsoft 365 tenant ready to be customised to your needs.

Passed my MS-102 with a 942 ! Your video was amazing! It was more concise clear and on spot than other courses. Study material I used was this course along with microsoft learning path. Also I did a handful of practice exams by S-killcertpro for a week and reviewed the exam notes provided by them the day before of my exam. Nearly 80% questions were from these sets.

Thank you for the invaluable content Peter! A quick hypothetical... how would someone who is out of work, or who doesn't have access to a company tenant get to grips with this? Do Microsft offer training/learning licences for a test environment? Or would people be expected to buy business licences to create their own mock company tenant? Apologies if this has been asked before.

Hi Peter, just wanted some advice, I would like to pursue this certification I just finished uni and wanted to get industrial certs would this be a great cert to get for IT support 1st and 2nd line, and what other certs would you recommend me to get, the end goal is network engineer but lf course we have to start from somewhere
