no hate, but abt the picky eating thing-
completely understand if it's just picky eating, but there's also a type of ED called ARFID that can look like picky eating. Instead of being abt maintaining a certain body figure or "look' it's more about the texture and taste of food. people with this ED usually have less than 20 'safe' foods (foods they are okay with eating) and genuinely cannot control it

my boyfriend is a picky eater (contrary to me) and he's a sweetheart.
we don't depend on the other's eating habits. i can still enjoy any food i want. why should you care about that when dating someone??? there's many other things that matter more.

not sure if this is for every picky eater but i'm one and most times its just bad anxiety for me. I understand your point if they just wont eat other things because they think its cool or smth, but anxiety can really make people scared of food/food textures.

I was talking to my older brother about my standards and he asked me if I hold myself to the same standard I expect from my future partner. Honestly I agree with most of these but the last one, I’ve been a picker eater since I was a baby (deadass) so I always struggle with finding foods. If you ever have a daughter with a picky boyfriend they can always eat different things and can collaborate on things they both like. I think it more so matters on how the boyfriend treats the daughter and others. I would also say this for girlfriend and son. This is just my personal take on this though so don’t flame me-
