I understand the fact that conservatives currently have more individual policies than liberals that are Christian-friendly, but I was under the impression that religion and politics are two things that must always remain separate. The fact that more people are currently buying the Bible does not guarantee a revival just because of who is in charge. I have heard far too many stories about how shallow such an interest can turn out to be, and I am not convinced that Trump's election will change anything in that regard. Perhaps the answer can be found somewhere other than politics?
