Thanks Dan and Tyson. Excited to use these new lighter 5.0s vs Axis. Would love to see the easton facility. Made a dozen this weekend. 300 spine at 28", podium titanium 50gr half out, 125gr exodus, fusion Q2i 3 fletched 3 degree left. 3" generic wrap. 14.5% FOC. 462gr

Best shaft ever so far. Already have them, already proving themselves to be the best. Not to mention, the hit collars, the inserts, are incredibly consistent in weight, and are also super straight right out of the gate (not much work to get these arrows match grade in every aspect)… A true game changer, in the sense you can create an arrow of almost any weight that is way more durable and consistent. Honestly, it comes to the components more than the shaft itself. We all knew Easton had this in the works, and it doesn’t disappoint. You can create anything, to hunt everything out of this one shaft, bar none.

Please do the factory tour. I just got into bow hunting last season after a long hiatus and also coming from modern. I didn’t get full penetration from my last arrow and wasn’t a fan of them. Really liking that Easton is made in the USA and switching to those as soon as they hit my local shop. Keep up the channel and all of the hunts and the podcast. Just started listening there. The FOC comments, we actually do see some higher FOC’s in target arrows… 200 grain points for indoor 27’s…
Also a lot of target shooters increase their point weight for less wind deflection….

I’m glad that Easton is doing the half out. I’ve tried the HIT system, followed the directions to a ‘t.’ Every insert ended up coming loose. I replaced those with the half out inserts, and I couldn’t be happier.

Would really like to see a video comparing the easton 5.0 with victory RIP TKO, victory HLR, or any other arrow in 8. Something grains per inch with a 300 spine.

Now, how does one experiment with FOC do you use hot melt so you can play around with the different weight and insert options . Re learning the compound i’m shooting a Hoyt katerra with carbon express terminators 6075 currently, but I’m looking to upgrade the components of my bow. I got a 31 - 32“ draw length I’ve been running standard inserts and 100 grain field points?

Bad thing is I can’t really sport my bow I don’t really have one anymore here at least anyone too help set up my bow so I’ve been trying to look for bow press so I can do my own bow and then probably get into making my own arrows completely

So interesting, I went to the sonic 6.0 last year and upped my weight to 503g at like 8.2 gpi, but the trajectory sucks. I love the KE, but only about out to 40 yards. I miss my 5mm axis though, maybe this is the answer?

And they showed that too bro with the fixed Brodhead in Ranch fairy his buddy tuned his bow to shoot bullet holes took a Broadhead had it all dolled in took the Broadhead and bent it in half and it still hit the center a lot of it is exactly about the bow and the arrow set up if that string is hitting that Arrow dead in the center and then if you got enough weight and mass up front to drag it for you know a good long distance that's not saying you have to go crazy but I definitely see how weight up front helps
