Look guys the reason why people are mad about this isn't just the graphics. The game we are shown here is very different than the one we got. We were shown this and got something very different.

Let me give you an example. It's like going to a convenient store and asking for a Caramilk chocolate bar. You wanted a chocolate bar with some caramel in it. So you buy the Caramilk but then you open it up and you get a kit kat. Sure the kitkat is a good chocolate bar, but I wanted a fucking Caramilk!

It's the same thing with watch dogs. We wanted an open world game with some interesting hacks that can affect the city and hacks that NPC's react to realistically(the car crash), a very intriguing story with good character developemnt, good driving, an art style that has thick atmosphere, and innovative multiplayer. We all wanted this based off what we were shown here.

Instead What we got was Press X for hacks that looses it's vanity very quickly, a mediocre to catch a predator story line, wonky driving, a really poor artstyle that looks worse than what we were shown, we got an interesting multiplayer but nothing like what they teased, and a open world setup that is exactly like assassins creed and Far Cry 3, not only that but the level we are shown here doesn't even exist in the game. On top of all of that the performance on PC was really bad and people are having all sorts of glitches and problems. 

This is why people are upset and hating on the game. It's because of crushing disappointment and not getting what you wanted based on a pretty false advertisement.

DEM PHYSICS. I remember being so blown away by this in 2012. that breeze of cold air shooting out from an ally, pushing out into the street and making Aiden's trenchcoat flap around.

This game has great details. You can even. see the light reflect of the white paint in the street. All the characters move so smooth, flawless and realistic. This is the best looking game I've seen thus far.

Why must these people make a speech. Just say: This is our game, It's about a hacker and stuff, we worked hard and we hope that you enjoy the concept and the footage - then play the gameplay.

Ubisoft should go back and remaster WD1 with E3 graphics for PS5/Series X/S with Ray Tracing

From this to Legion, they really learned a lot and improve a lot for the Watch Dogs franchise, good job Ubisoft!

There seems to be 2 slightly different versions of this demo I've found on YouTube. This one is a little more drawn out with the added multiplayer tease at the end.. I find it interesting. Also Ubi should do a watch dogs remake and make it more like this. PS5 and modern PC hardware could run the game at those settings just fine.
