The answer is to replace the rubber washer

This video does not explain "how to stop your shower head from falling down"

Was thinking to do the same thing. Just undo the wing nut, take out the rubber washer & buy the same size from Bunnings. I don't want to go through the hassle of buying a whole new head just for the new washer.

You're joking with this, right? So your solution to stop it from falling down over time is, "once it falls down, loosen it before you put it back." Clever. Orbit plumbings response to a leak must be, "once you have a leak, use less water."

This helps many things where such a mechanism is used, thank you!

I have the same kind of shower, but mine is leaking from the right where it's tightened, replaced the oring, but seems to be still leaking and pissing out if I turn the pressure up any ideas, I am thinking silicone tape, it's an old shower.

Maybe damaged cracked !!!

Replacing the Oring fixed it falling down, the cap on the end has another washer which has a round edge on it, but I think that gos flush, don't have one of them.

Caesar: This doesn’t help. It doesn’t stop Joseph walking in and screaming my name either

From the views and the unhappy commens I see that this is a common problem but I agree there aren't enough clear answers out there. HOWEVER, it went by fast but the "rubber seal" that "expands the lifespan" aka the washer is the solution, or one.8

Mine is doing this as soon as I bought it, and I can't tighten it any more than I already have.

This is a prevention video not a cure for the problem. Seems like there is no fix but just replace the whole adjustable arm? Surely not! Now I have to look elsewhere for a solution!

This video does not help resolving the issue of the shower head /arm falling down, delete video unless you actually state/show how to make/get it to stay up

This does not help. My shower head has been replaced and the fitting. All fittings tried the shower head drops down.
